Who wouldn't want to work for a winery? Our catch-phrase is this "We make good wine fun!" We hope you will consider coming to work with us where you can have lots of fun selling our exciting wines to retailers and restaurants.
The Winery at Olney has experienced tremendous growth over the past year. As such, we are expanding into the wholesale market with our selection of premium wines. This is a great opportunity for the right individual to get in on the ground floor and create their own client base.
The Winery is in search of a highly motivated, goal oriented, and self driven full-time sales representative for the Maryland market. We are looking for an account executive to sell and distribute our line of wines to restaurants, retail stores and other avenues in Maryland.
If interested, please contact Joe@TheWineryAtOlney.com
For the second year in a row, The Winery At Olney has received medals from The Finger Lakes International Wine Competition. Six of our wines were awarded the silver medal and 15 were awarded bronze. Wineries from all 50 states, 6 Canadian provinces, and 20 countries entered a total of 3,756 different wines in this year’s competition. The Finger Lakes International Wine Competition is the second largest wine competition in the United States.

Please join us for Cheers for Cockers, a special event benefiting Oldies But Goodies Cocker Rescue (OBG) on October 26th from 6 – 9 p.m. Your ticket will include a tasting of 5 select wines, nibbles and delicious treats, along with many fun raffles. Each ticket and bottle of wine purchased will also earn you a raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased at the event so bring your cash or checks. While this is an event for adults, we do plan on bringing a few of our social foster dogs to greet everyone.
OBG is an all volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in the DC metro area. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing cocker spaniels and mixes. Our dogs have been given up, found as strays, or rescued from shelters throughout the mid-Atlantic region. We are true to our name and take in many “oldies but goodies;” often we are a senior dog’s last hope and these cases make for some of our happiest endings. Since its inception in 1996, OBG has grown from a one-person rescue organization to become one of the largest breed-specific rescues in the United States, saving over 200 dogs in 2013. Currently, we are caring for over 75 homeless dogs of all ages in our foster homes.
We hope that you can make it to this evening of fun with friends old and new. Tickets can be purchased for $25 plus tax by clicking the Eventbrite logo below. Tickets at the door will cost $30 plus tax. Wine will be sold by the bottle and will include a special OBG label, so this is a great opportunity to get an early start on your holiday shopping. A bottle of wine makes a great gift for family and friends or for dog walkers, vet staff, and groomers who you want to show your appreciation. Proceeds from tickets, glass and bottle sales, along with raffle sales, will go directly towards OBG’s costs to help more dogs lead the wonderful lives they truly deserve.

Dear Friends and Families,
Please join us for an exciting fundraising event at The Winery at Olney on Monday, November 3, 6-9pm. The Winery is located at 18127 Town Center Drive in Olney, Maryland.
Come support the Cougars 10U Fastpitch Softball Team while enjoying wonderful wine and great food with family and friends. There will be a variety of food and tasty treats provided for you to enjoy while you socialize.
Here's how it works: Each person will pay $20 at the door ($10 for the Winery & $10 for the team). The cost covers a wine tasting of five different wines. You can choose to sample any wine they have in stock! After you have tasted all the wonderful wines, we encourage you to purchase a bottle of your favorite wine to enjoy while hanging out with friends and family for the evening! The team will profit $10 for each bottle of wine that is purchased. You can take the bottle home or open it there and enjoy a glass or two. When you are ready to go, the Winery will cork the bottle for you (if you haven't finished it!). Also, seven select wines will have a special commemorative Cougars label!
We hope to see you at The Winery at Olney on Monday, November 3!
