Join us on November 11th as we open up our private wine cellar and release 3 brand new reds: Meeting House Red (a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah), Red Mountain Washington State Cabernet Merlot, and Willamette Valley Oregon Pinot Noir. We will be offering complimentary samples all day as well as specialty charcuterie for pairing. From 6:00PM to 8:00PM our winemakers will be in house talking about each varietal and answering any questions you may have. We only have 200 bottles of each wine so mark your calendars and be sure to come in and get yours before they are all gone. Vino 1800 Wine Club members receive 10% off all limited release reds.
For the second year in a row, The Winery At Olney has received medals from The Finger Lakes International Wine Competition. Six of our wines were awarded the silver medal and 15 were awarded bronze. Of those 21 wines, four were our Oasis Premium Fruit Wines: Peach Chardonnay, Blackberry Merlot, Black Cherry Pinot Noir, and Cranberry Shiraz.
Wineries from all 50 states, 6 Canadian provinces, and 20 countries entered a total of 3,756 different wines in this year’s competition. The Finger Lakes International Wine Competition is the second largest wine competition in the United States.

This intensely creamy and pleasantly sweet, full-bodied port combines a rich caramel aroma with the robust flavors of red fruit. The buttery caramel notes give this wine a roundness and texture on the palate that is perfectly balanced with rich toasted notes on the finish.

No tickets necessary so just come on in dressed up in costume and recieve 5% off your barbill and be entered into our costume contest to win spooktacular prizes, including a wine basket! Please join us for an exciting fundraising event at The Winery at Olney on Monday, November 3, 6-9pm. The Winery is located at 18127 Town Center Drive in Olney, Maryland.
Come support the Cougars 10U Fastpitch Softball Team while enjoying wonderful wine and great food with family and friends. There will be a variety of food and tasty treats provided for you to enjoy while you socialize.
Here's how it works: Each person will pay $20 at the door ($10 for the Winery & $10 for the team). The cost covers a wine tasting of five different wines. You can choose to sample any wine they have in stock! After you have tasted all the wonderful wines, we encourage you to purchase a bottle of your favorite wine to enjoy while hanging out with friends and family for the evening! The team will profit $10 for each bottle of wine that is purchased. You can take the bottle home or open it there and enjoy a glass or two. When you are ready to go, the Winery will cork the bottle for you (if you haven't finished it!). Also, seven select wines will have a special commemorative Cougars label!

PAIN CONNECTION IS CELEBRATING ITS 15th ANNIVERSARY IN FILLING THE GAPS IN PAIN CARE!
Please join us on November 9, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00pm at The Winery at Olney for a Wine Tasting Fundraiser benefitting Pain Connection programs serving people with chronic pain and family members.
Pain Connection-Chronic Pain Outreach Center, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not for profit human service agency since 1999. Our mission is to empower people with chronic pain to improve their quality of life, decrease their sense of isolation and take a more active role in their treatment. We do this by providing information, psychosocial support, coping skills and training to people with chronic pain, their families and health care providers.
Our services include: monthly support groups for people with chronic pain and their families, one-on-one peer support, Pain Connection Live Conference Calls, Filling the Gaps in Pain Care (FIG) an 8 week program designed for people with pain and their families to improve their ability to manage chronic pain more effectively, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) classes, “Pain Warriors” 8 week program and outreach to people from the Military, Veteran’s and Family Members, speaker series, publication of “Making the Invisible Visible: Chronic Pain Manual for Health Care Providers”, Training of Trainers and supervision of mental health professionals, annual September Pain Awareness Month programs, information and referrals, community outreach and education, newsletter and website.
Ticket price: $30 per person plus $2.20 tax.

Please join us for an adult fun night out to support the Lake Marion Lasers Swim Team on Sunday, November 16th. Drop in anytime between 6 pm and 9 pm to enjoy great wine, food, music and friends.
Meet our new Head Coach, Mike Edwards! He will be there to meet the parents and answer any questions about the upcoming swim season.
Don’t forget about the White House Ornaments. They are in stock and can be purchased at the Winery event for $20 each.
We will also have spirt wear order forms available and a limited supply of the new 2015 t-shits for parents for purchase. They are $10 each.
Tickets for this event are $20 and allow you to sample 5 different wines and enjoy some delicious appetizers, light fare and delicious desserts.
Bottles of the winery’s vintages bearing a commemorative Lake Marion Swim Team label, designed exclusively for this event, will be available for purchase to enjoy at the event or to take home. They make unique Holiday gifts for friends, family or neighbors. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each ticket and from each bottle of wine sold at the event will be donated to the Lasers. 1 Up Handles Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to 'Empower Current & Future Student Athletes' through our after school programs, dance/cheer academy & summer camps. These programs are the heart beat in Keeping Kids Active, promoting academics & physically activity as part of a healthy lifestyle. We serve a community of hard working parents who can be assured that their children are involved in safe, well-structured and fun activities.
In order for our outreach to continue, we are seeking public monetary support to give all kids a place to try new activities, hone existing skills and express their creative abilities.

The Winery at Olney introduces the unique concept of bring a working winery to an urban, retail setting. All of our wide variety of wines are fermented on-site at our location in the Fair Hill Shopping Center in Olney, where our customers can enjoy them at our signature tasting bar, by the glass in one of our cool seating areas, or purchase them to go. If there is one that you find to be exceptionally delicious, we can help you make your own custom batch of wine (28-30 bottles) in our U-Vint area.
